This year is about to end. 2016 had its own share of controversies. Samsung Galaxy Note 7s exploded while Apple disappointed its users by removing all the connectors in the Macbook Pro. Google announced their first ever phone – the pixel while Qualcomm bounced back in the market with the Snapdragon 820 chipset after a forgetful 810.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is expected to power up majority of flagship phones in 2017. It might have upto eight Kryo cores. There will be two quad core sets of 2.4ghz and 3ghz. It will have a Adreno 540 GPU and will support 4K along with Quick Charge 4.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is based on 10nm FinFet Process. It is being developed with a collaboration with Samsung. This new 10nm FinFet process of Samsung allows up to 30% increase in area efficiency, 27% improvement in performance and 40% less power consumption.
